The Center for Autism is located at multiple sites in the DC metro area. We are primarily located at the the following locations:

Shady Grove, MD

Children’s National Neuropsychology at Montgomery County

Parking: There is a large parking lot with free parking.

Public Transportation: The closest Metro stop is the Shady Grove Station on the Red Line. A MCDOT bus route with a free fare is available from the Shady Grove station and stops directly in front of the building (stop #5, Shady Grove Corporate Center).  

Takoma Park, D.C.

Children's National Takoma Theatre

Parking: Free parking is available next to the building on weekends only. Alternative parking is available on Whittier St NW in front of the park.

Public Transportation: The closest Metro stop is a 5-minute walk from the Takoma Station on the Red Line.

Fairfax, VA

Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV)

Parking: An open parking garage is located adjacent to the building.

Public Transportation: The nearest Metro stop is Vienna on the Orange Line. A Metro bus with a free fare is available from the Vienna station and stops a 2-minute walk from the building.

Main Campus, D.C.

Children's National Hospital

Parking: Please park in the main underground parking garage. If it is a busy day, they may have you do valet. From the garage, you will take the elevators to the first floor, where you will check in at the security desk (ID required). The security is in the main atrium with the decorative hot air balloons (Costco Atrium). You can wait there, and we will come down and get you. There is a chance you may end up near the ER entrance, where you can ask security to direct you to the main atrium.

Public Transportation: The nearest Metro stop is Brookland/CUA (Catholic University) on the Red Line. Children’s National shuttle service is available from the Brookland/CUA station and stops directly in front of the building.
