Studying Outcomes of Autistic Individuals Transitioning to Adulthood (SOAR)

This study looks at how changes in self-care, domestic, and community skills influence quality of life as autistic individuals transition out of high school; and how self-determination, executive function skills, and access to services influence daily living skills.

Age Range: Be in the last two years of high school or in the last two years of your school district’s transition program

Autism Center of Excellence Network: Neurodevelopmental Biomarkers of Late Diagnosis in Autism (ACE)

We are part of a team of Autism Centers of Excellence conducting a study of people on the autism spectrum to better understand their experience of diagnosis and their quality of life.

Relationships and Experiences in Adolescent Connections and Mental Health (REACH)

REACH is aimed at better understanding how autistic adolescents experience social interactions and how these experiences affect their mental health over time. Participants in this study will receive up to $200 in compensation, and study assessment results that can be shared at no cost. Participants will participate in two visits over the course of one year, where they will complete questionnaires and play computer games.
