  • Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship in Autism

    Children’s National Hospital, Washington DC

    The Center for Autism (CASD) in the Division of Neuropsychology at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia is accepting applications for a full-time, two-year postdoctoral psychology fellowship in autism.

     

    Fellowship Description: The fellowship provides advanced specialty training in clinical assessment, treatment, and research in autism. We value trainee diversity, cultural competence, and the ability to contribute to our work with diverse and underserved populations. Our training combines clinical, didactic, and research activities to prepare you for a career in clinical-academic psychology. We provide focused experience in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with autism and related conditions. The experience includes participation in diagnostic and developmental evaluations across age and levels of functioning and experience in group and individual treatment. The fellow will also participate in weekly didactics, case conferences, and individual and group supervision. We offer protected time (minimum 20%) for mentored research activities.

Responsibilities include managing and analyzing data, as well as administering psychological measurements. Opportunities to prepare grants and develop manuscripts are also provided.
