EMAs
EMA stands for ecological momentary assessment, and are a collection of brief daily surveys about their behaviors and experiences. Your teen will answer a variety of these throughout the course of a week.
EEGs
EEG stands for electroencephalography, which is non-invasive and it uses a cap with sensors attached to measure your child’s brain activity as they complete certain tasks. It sits on top of their scalp to measure what’s going on in their brain (kind of like how a smart watch measures your heart rate), it won’t hurt but we do use a special kind of gel that helps connect the sensors, which may feel a little uncomfortable (wet/cold)
